About Linda
Nice to meet you!
Meet Linda
Hi, I’m Linda! Walk along with me through my journey to inspire a wave of wonder, full of life well lived.
As a child I would attempt to write a story, not even sure where to begin. I would start with: “There once was a girl … who lived in a house.”
I remember I would draw a little stick figure and a house yet never quite knew what to say. What did she do? What did she look like? What was her story? I recall sitting on my brother’s bed looking out the window from an a-frame upstairs bedroom at our home on Emerson Street pondering where to begin.
As time passed, I grew up, finished school and went on to work in Television Broadcasting where I was able to bring so many stories to life through words and video working as a producer and reporter. During those years I interned with NBC in New York City, worked for PBS Public Broadcasting in New York and Minneapolis, joined the ABC affiliates in Wisconsin and Phoenix and went on to study Broadcast Meteorology working as a weather anchor. I even flew for Pan American World Airways as a flight attendant, filling my wanderlust for travel.
A passionate animal lover, I’ve given countless conservation tours at the Phoenix Zoo along with astronomy shows at the Arizona Science Center. I have rescued innumerable animals, mainly dogs, three of which I still have. Now looking back it seems I have come full circle.
Today, I’m working again as a flight attendant and after 25 years of a beautiful marriage to my best friend, I became a widow in the prime of life. In a strange twist of fate, I never thought in a million years the one story I would revisit after all this time would be my own.
There once was a girl …
#MakeYourDashCount…because you count.
We enter the world alone, and we exit the world alone, but together, in the middle, we can live this life to the fullest, and encourage one another in a million little ways to make sure to #MakeYourDashCount.
In my quest to endure this unexpected trial of life – through grief and death – it is my hope for each of us to better understand our purpose this side of heaven. I hope you will join me on the path. It’s evident we each bear our own individual cross traveling through the universe. I’ve come to realize our pinnacle life goal is to serve our time, talent and treasure in all ways – always!
I’ve seen firsthand how death and circumstance sure can hit hard, just like the unexpected hockey puck that shot into our path. It can happen so abruptly as it innocently and naturally steals everything we once knew.
With each passing day I am only able to persevere thanks to the embrace of so many people and my sweetest beloved pets along with the hope of peace waiting in the wings by way of the most amazing dreams and timing of divine connections literally sent my way right in front of me – every step I take.
