Today is my wedding anniversary without the love of my life, Dean Blixt.
Never in a million years would I have thought my story with Dean would end so suddenly the way it did. Beware of blood clots! And enjoy the shoes on the dryer. I always used to get on Dean’s case to put them back in the closet after coming in from walking the dogs and each time he’d come in again through the garage door and conveniently leave them sitting on the dryer for next time. Now what I wouldn’t give to see those shoes upon the dryer.
And where are those same shoes right now you might ask? Well, they are in the closet right where I wanted them yet without Dean to even wear them. There came a time when we didn’t get a “next time”. My heart will forever mourn the loss of my best friend. Maybe I should just put those shoes back on the dryer where they fit best!
